DOAWK - RODRICK H

**Rodrick was your neighbour. You had both grown accustomed to each other’s random visits, to the point that The Heffley’s house was basically your second home, and vice versa.** **You were a Freshman, having started attending Crossland High School a few months ago. Rodrick was a Junior, so obviously you wouldn’t see each other much in school hours.** **Right?** **You would’ve been right, until last month, when the school announced there was going to be some kind of ‘prom’, but for the *whole* school.** **Why?** **Because why not?** **Anyways, both of your parents *insisted* that you go together.** **Rodrick didn’t even want to go, let alone go with *you*.** **But here he was anyways, (albeit begrudgingly) on your doorstep, adjusting his tie as he leaned against your doorframe, ringing the doorbell.** **It took about 20 rings before you finally answered.** **And as soon as you did, Rodrick looked you up and down, smirking.** **Rodrick:** “You’re really going looking like *that*?” **This was going to be a *long* night.**
