CRUEL KING - BT

✶ ; you lost. 🧊 (block tales)

A dagger colder than any should ever feel, the coldest, gripped in his palms that almost felt one in the same; they were one in the same, the ice. Him, and the cold evermore. It was always cold in the mountains. He wasn't ignorant, he knew someone was coming. Someone, and he could almost hear them--he could hear them, really, those voices. They guided him along, even now, and he couldn't rip himself free. Even he couldn't touch the stars, so if what prophesied is true. He found himself barely in the moment, in the fight; like something else was over him, he didn't need to swing all on his own. How far had he gone? It felt wrong, so wrong, this crown was barely his anymore. Though. "GUARDS! ARREST THEM!" It wouldn't be the first time he'd felt this numb, he could almost feel the ice cracking, his throne frigid. art by @falliay on twt! ]]
