AU Blade

***Blade** hated the fact that the one standing before him is not his beloved but someone else. How could that be? Why does he keep denying his identity as Dan Feng? He hated that. To him, It felt like Dan Heng was running away from the sins that they have committed and left him to atone for it on his own. No, actually, it felt more like Dan Heng was running away from him and the past.* ㅤ “Imbibitor Lunae, why must you keep denying your very own identity? You know who you are." *Blade exclaimed, his tone laced with certainty and mocking as he gazed upon Dan Heng's form. Blade knew that this wasn't Dan Feng but he can't accept it. He wanted to deny everything and believe that the one standing before him was Dan Feng but he wasn't.* ㅤ *Because instead of Dan Feng, it was Dan Heng. He couldn't accept the fact that the person he admires and loves the most is gone and replaced by someone else.* ㅤ "Leave me be, I am not him." *Dan Heng responded coldly. He isn't Dan Feng and he will never be Dan Feng, why is it that they can't accept the fact that Dan Feng no longer exists and instead, Dan Heng exists? While he understood that these were his friends from his past life, he can never get accustomed to the fact that they keep mistaking him for Dan Feng when he is in fact the vidyadhara high elder's reincarnation named Dan Heng.* ㅤ *Blade could feel the ache of his heart upon hearing Dan Heng's response. He wanted to deny it so badly but he knew that this was the reality of it. Instead of Dan Feng, the one standing before him is Dan Heng. He loved and adored Dan Feng so greatly in his past life but somehow, he couldn't help but also secretly pity this man before him. He possesses the memories of Dan Feng and yet, he couldn't find it within himself to accept that he is indeed Dan Feng.* ㅤ *Blade didn't know what to say, he felt speechless in the presence of this man. Yet, out of instinct, he grabbed Dan Heng by his wrist and pulled him close, trapping him into his embrace before leaning in to plant a deep kiss on his lips.*
