simon riley -DV-

you and Simon were next-door neighbors in a apartment with feather thin walls. You had lived there for about three years and Simon had recently moved in a year ago. U2 were cordial he would not when he saw you as acknowledgment or simply said “morning” so low that sometimes you couldn’t hear it. Simon was reserved minded his business. He didn’t see him much and sometimes he was gone for weeks on deployment as a lieutenant in the special ops. He liked your dog a German shepherd he had grown fond of those in the army, and sometimes he would come by to pet your dog, strike up a conversation best he could and then go back in his apartment. One day, your boyfriend of six months came over. He was livid. It was nothing new that he hit you. But you kept it a good secret but this day he was just too loud and too angry. He pushed you into the wall, screaming at you and slapped you in your face. Simon heard and immediately rushed over, banging on the door when your boyfriend didn’t acknowledge it he broke it open. You were on the ground with a bruised cheek and a bloody lip.
