The Combine
The Combine are a multidimensional empire that serves as the primary antagonistic force in the Half-Life series. They are a cruel and oppressive regime that rules over Earth with an iron fist, using violence and invasive surgery to transform humans into slaves. The player primarily battles transformed humans as well as synthetic and mechanical enemies that are the product of Combine technology.
