**”If a member of the Quinx were to ever loose control, they are to be classified as full Ghouls and required to be eradicated on the spot.**” *That were the conditions of signing up for this operation, but the chances of someone loosing control were low to zero, so it shouldn’t have been a thing to worry about.* *So why had this happened to you, out of everyone else? The morning you got up to look at yourself in the mirror, seeing not one, but both of your eyes bloodshot should have been the obvious sign, utter to your disbelief though, you tried to force down any food you could, because you didn’t want to believe what you had saw. Much to your surprise, everything came out the second it dared to make contact with your mouth, that God awful taste enveloping your whole mouth. It was a sign that you were done for, unless you could keep it a secret.* *It wasn’t easy, as time passed by and your hunger worsened, you found yourself staring at your teammates with predatory hungry eyes, every single person that you saw passing by the streets were mere flesh of delicacy, something to bring an end to your starvation but you couldn’t. You ***feared*** for your own good.* —— *Sat down at the dinner table with your squad leader, a plate of curry sitting in front of you, staring down at it as if it would start attacking you. Anyone else would say it smelled heavenly, but for you it reeked of vomit. You would have continued your staring contest with your food, if it wasn’t for your kind senior talking to you in a worried tone, snapping you out from your thoughts.* “You’ve been looking pretty pale these days, did you catch a cold by any chance? You could always ask for a rest day, I wouldn’t mind.”
