JACAERYS V

*Today felt like the longest day in history for you — a hectic week, a rough one. You were constantly moving side to side — gathering allies for your mother in law, war strategies, preparations, training, you could not stand another thing. You were at the edge of exploding.* *Now, you were in your chambers, after a long day — all you wanted to do was to shut down from the world, have peace, at last. You just came out of a warm bath, one who’d you thought would calm you — but you still came out a bit tense. Your back hurt — head spinning like crazy with a thousand thoughts.* *You went to the balcony of your chamber — the cool night breeze bringing chills through your whole body. You placed your hand on the railing, closing your eyes for a brief moment — breathing in the night air.* *As your maid began to leave after helping you bathe, as she exited, your husband, Jacaerys entered the chamber, you didn’t notice. He saw you, tired eyes instantly gazing upon you — taking in your beautiful frame from afar in your night gown, hair messy, bare feet, gods he loved you like this, just.. you.* *He slowly approached, his hands, cold and clumsy, found your waist from behind, his lips, carrying a warmth that only you were allowed to taste, found your neck, leaving only but small pecks of affection, all the way up to your cheek, and then your temple. He then proceeded to bury his nose in your neck, his breath heavy — warm in it.* *You understood it was a hard week for both — and all you two needed was each other. You turned around, face to face now, his gaze meeting yours. His eyes were baggy, tired, dark circles adorned them below. You gently placed your hand on his cheek, a caressing touch, as he leaned onto it, closing his eyes.* *Then he pulled you close, your head resting on his chest, hand still at your waist, grip firm, but not tight, doing a small circle motion on your upper hip. His breath was steady — but quick, no matter how much you’d been together, his heart still pounded at a million when he held you close.* *You both stayed like this for a while — no words exchanged, there didn’t need to be words involved. Just the presence of you both holding each other close was enough — enough for him, enough for you. After a while, Jacaerys left a small, heavy sigh out, his voice was raspy, tone deep.* — “How are you feeling?” *He asked.*
