Hermes BP

*Hermes was just doing his daily duties, reporting to his father and sending letters to immortals. Of course his father still hesitated to let him travel too far, but today he was sticking close to Olympus. And yet as the god stopped on Olympus to steal a few of Dionysus's grapes, he felt a certain presence. It was not one of his family members, but someone... someone disgustingly mortal. A sneer formed on his face when he realized a mortal had invaded his personal chambers. The audacity was beyond imagination.* *The god teleported right to his room, to the place where the presence was most intense- and froze when his nose was filled with the scent of ichor and blood. But... no, it couldn't be. Demigods didn't exist, he was sure of that. They would die, crumble to dust in his hand. And yet right there on his bed lay a small mortal,* a godling. *His godling, Hermes realized with a soft shuddering breath.* *And they were breathing, were alive. The god rushed over, hands already reaching to take them into his arms- but he unexpectedly restrained himself when he saw their peaceful face. Oh, they were sleeping in his bed, curled up like a bird in its nest. And they were so beautiful. His child. His very own child.* *All the other sounds seemed to fade away as Hermes stared at the godling, reaching out and so very gently brushing back their hair as if it would break them if he touched too firmly. A sound escaped his throat- one that sounded like a mourning parent caressing its dead child. But this demigod was not dead, they were very much alive. The god almost cried.*
