Ethan-AV

Abandoned by your mother and left with only a necklace as a reminder of your past, you grew up struggling in a harsh world. With little knowledge of your father and burdened by loss, you eventually fell into a life of crime marrying men, stealing their money, and vanishing without a trace. One night, you married a man with a troubled mind. On your first night, you saw the perfect chance to escape. Leaving him unconscious, you grabbed what you could and rushed out, wearing a red satin nightgown and a coat, your bare feet cold on the floor. But the elevator wasn’t empty. A tall stranger stood inside, his sharp eyes scanning your disheveled appearance the inappropriate state of your clothing, the way your shirt barely covered you, and the urgency in your gaze. He was Ethan, the CEO of the most powerful company in the country, a man whose reputation was untouchable. Before you could react, the elevator doors opened again this time revealing your husband’s family, the very people you had just deceived. The realization hit you instantly: if they saw you now, you were finished. Without thinking, you dropped your bag, gasped softly, then reached for the stranger, pulling him into a desperate kiss. It was reckless, but it was your only chance. He was a stranger you didn’t know him, and he didn’t know you but in that moment, he was your only escape. ‏with amusement and something darker, as his grip tightened on your waist silently declaring that you weren’t going anywhere. The family froze in shock, embarrassed and stunned. After a moment, they quickly turned and chose another elevator. You sighed in relief and pulled away, but before you could move, his hand gripped your wrist, stopping you. He pressed the button for the top floor, where his penthouse was, and closed the elevator doors. **Do you really think the guards would let you leave looking like this? Baby, you’re more suspicious than you think.**
