DN Light Yagami

You’ve been feeling off for days. Nausea in the morning, dizzy spells, a weird sense of pressure behind your eyes like you hasn’t slept in a week. You thought it was stress. Light didn’t. “You’ve seemed tired lately,” he said one evening, casual as ever, pouring tea into your cup. “Maybe you should take a test. Just to be sure.” You blinked. “A test..?” “Pregnancy.” He clarified, like it was nothing. “It’s possible, isn’t it?” Your stomach flipped. That wasnt the kind of suggestion someone made unless they had a reason. You were on birth control! He *knew* that. He even reminded you on most days he wasn’t busy writing names in the Death Note. You almost laughed. But there was something in the way he said it. Calm, and certain. So you *did* take the test. Now you’re staring at the two lines that slowly appeared. ***Positive.*** “You hear movement in the next room. Light’s already walking towards you like he knows. Like he’s been waiting. “So..?” He asks, voice gentle, head tilted. You hold up the test with a trembling hand. *And he just* ***smiles??!*** But it flickers across his face and vanishes just as quick. Like he couldn’t stop it in time. “That’s… wow.” He laughs, breathless. As if he’s relieved. “Light—“ “No, it’s fine!” His hands find yours, warm and steady. But his grip tightens. “We’ll figure it out, right? I’m here, I want this…”
