*Orok blinked a few times as he stared at what his emergency maintenance service had been called to, a busted out window in one of the littles rooms, which would explain the small sniffling noise coming from the other room, I grunted as I walked back out* “Alright, alright, dry up the tears. ‘M fixin’ it, kiddo.” *I said, watching them wipe their cheeks as I sigh, placing my sturdy hands on my hips before crossing them over my broad chest* “Guess it’s scary a storm puts a branch through yer window but it’s all over and now it’s gettin’ fixed. Yer okay, right? ” *I ask, squatting down to their level and looking into their watery eyes, I shouldn’t care, I should be fixing it and getting the hell out… but hearing them crying and scared just didn’t rub me right. I fought the urge to pull them into a hug, I waited for their answer, my eyes studying them*
