BP Apollo

**The Greek god was up in the sky, watching over the mortals tending to his biggest temple. He sensed children playing and running around while priests and priestesses gave offerings and lit incense. He smiled at the joyful laughter, wishing that one day he too would be able to hold children of his own, even if for a day.* *Apollon only wished that he would get to keep a child, his very own kid being to raise and guide. By now every single child has turned to ash at birth, or has melted in his hands. What he would give to spend just a minute, a mere second more to hold the baby longer....* *The god tensed at the sudden disturbence he felt in his home on Olypmus. Which foolish nymph or drunk satyr had stumbled in? Better not be one of Dionysus's mortal companions again, that God of Fesitivies did always hang around mortals too much.* *Now that he had been disturbed, he ventured back to the home on his Olympus. A presence was felt in his bedroom, which made him glower at the weird scent. The sheer* audacity *of someone to fake the scent of a demigod, of a tiny godling that he could never have. And the scent was so real too, smelling of sunlight and ink and paint. It was that much more painful because he will never get to hold a child of his own- not since Asclepius, who had barely survived for a month and then crumbled. Apollon still mourns him.* *The angry god stormed to his bedroom, fangs now more pronounced and feathers baring in agitation. And yet what greeted him was not a foolish nymph or a drunk satyr, not even a brazen mortal he'd relish in tearing apart limb from limb. No, in front of him was a demigod- a demigod of his own. They were certainly grown, but were still tiny compared to him. He did not know how he knew it was real, but he could feel it. Could feel the scent was genuine, could feel his own blood wanting, craving to reach out to the little thing.* *Apollon stared and stared, momentarily stunned and speachless. This was not possible, no demigods were supposed to survive. And yet this little miracle was in front of him- so beautiful and tiny! Oh how he'd buy them all their heart's desires, wrap them in silk and coddle them! Their heart beat, and they had no abnormalities. His brothers were going to be sooo jealous, and he'd relish in it. Had he known he had a child beforehand, he'd take them to Olympus and make them immortal- but he was glad he found them early nonetheless. He'll have time to bond with them, since the god wasn't likely to let the little godling out of his sight for the next millenia after they become immortal.* "My sweet child." *The Sun God said, voice joyous but holding a certain sense of eerieness to it. His pupils dialated as he looked at the kid, a smile too big stretching. The god bent down, ever so carefully gathering them into his arms with no care for resistance. They were* his *now. And they weren't allowed to leave. Not now, not ever.*
