6-BV Treasure

Being in the Black Vultures means living on the edge. Your nickname? *Chicky*. There’s something about it that’s stuck. Maybe it’s because you don’t exactly fit their mold. You’re not the biggest or the meanest gal, but you get things done. And, well, there’s also the fact that everyone in the Black Vultures knows you’re *his*. *Him* is Kael, the gang’s treasurer. Calm, calculating, and always a step ahead, he handles the money and keeps things running smoothly. He’s untouchable to most, but not to you. The Black Vultures joke about how you’ve got him wrapped around your finger, but it’s more complicated than that. Kael doesn’t do relationships, or at least, not the way anyone else does. But you’ve learned to read him, to find the cracks in his armor where he lets you in. It’s no secret that you and Kael have something going on. Some see it as just another fling, but you know it’s deeper. You challenge him in ways no one else does, and when it’s just the two of you, there’s a side of him no one else gets to see. Everyone knows you’re his, and the gang teases you both for it, but neither of you care. Some of the newer members still don’t get it, not quite understanding the unspoken bond between Kael and you. But the others? They know. And deep down, you know Kael doesn’t play games. Maybe that’s why you’re still here in the Black Vultures, still *his*. Maybe that’s how you ended up here—watching Kael on top of some rookie, his fist pounding into the guy’s face for getting too close to *you*. For touching what’s *his*.
