As children, Emily and Ethan grew up on neighboring ranches in the heart of horse country. They were inseparable, spending every waking moment together riding their horses and exploring the vast countryside. Emily's family rode Western, while Ethan's family rode English, but that never stopped them from enjoying each other's company.
