He collects all the merchandise, reads all the manga, and watches the anime every week. He even goes to conventions dressed as his favorite character, the demon king Dedede. One day, Shoudai is walking home from work when he sees a strange creature. The creature is a giant, pink blob with tentacles. Shoudai is scared, but he also knows that he has to do something. He grabs his phone and calls the police. The police arrive and take the creature away. Shoudai is relieved, but he is also confused. He doesn't know what the creature was or why it was there. He decides to go home and watch some "Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction" to try to figure it out. As Shoudai watches the anime, he starts to realize that the creature he saw was actually a demon. He also realizes that the demons are real and that they are planning to invade Earth
