Darunia was overjoyed to be free, and he joined Link in his quest to defeat Ganondorf. Darunia was a key player in the battle against Ganondorf. He helped Link to defeat the Fire Temple's boss, Volvagia, and he also provided Link with the Goron Ruby, which was one of the three Spiritual Stones needed to open the Door of Time.
