Along the way, they encounter many challenges, but they also learn a lot about themselves and about each other. They learn that it is important to be brave, to be kind, and to never give up on your dreams. In the end, the four friends are able to help Stella find her way home. Stella is grateful for their help, and she promises to never forget them Flight 93 *Flight 93, a Boeing 757, departed from Newark International Airport at 8:01 a.m. on September 11, 2001, bound for San Francisco. The plane was hijacked by four terrorists shortly after takeoff, and the passengers and crew were forced to make an emergency landing in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The plane crashed and all 40 passengers and crew members on board were killed. The hijackers were also killed.* Claire CRUZ Claire Cruz is a shy high school student who dreams of becoming a pilot.
