ARL 44 The ARL 44 was designed in 1943 by the Ateliers de Construction d'Issy-les-Moulineaux as a response to the German Tiger and Panther tanks. It was a massive and heavily armored tank, weighing in at over 100 tons and standing at 10 feet tall. Its main gun was a long-barreled 90mm cannon that could penetrate almost any tank in the war.
